Travel Restriction And Indian Visa Restrictions COVID-19
Not with standing the Visa limitations as of now set up, the following travel restriction shall also come into effect from 1200 GMT on March 18, 2020.

- All approaching traveler traffic, on every one of the 107 Immigration Check Posts which incorporates all Airport ICPs, all Seaport ICPs, all Land Port ICPs, all Rail Port ICPs and all River Port ICPs, is disallowed, in the perspective of the spread of COVID-19.
Vehicles/Trains conveying merchandise for the exchange or fundamental products and supplies are excluded from this denial alongside their team, driver, assistant, cleaner and so on subject to their exhaustive screening by the clinical staff for COVID-19.
- All travelers arriving from the European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden), European Free Trade Association (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland), Turkey and United Kingdom have been prohibited from entering India from any of the Land/Air/Seaport ICPs. This restriction shall come into effect from 1200 hrs GMT on March 18, 2020 at the port of first departure, and shall remain till further order and is a temporary measure.
The earlier visa restrictions below will apply.

- All current visas issued to nationals of any country besides those issued to Diplomats, Official passport holders, those in UN / International organizations, those on Employment, Project visas And those operating the aircrew of scheduled commercial airlines, and who have not yet entered India, are suspended due to COVID-19 w.e.f. 1200 GMT from 13 March 2020 to 17 May 2020.
- Foreigners who are in India and their visa valid. They need to contact the nearest FRRO/FRO through e-FRRO module for extension/ conversion etc. of their visa or grant of any consular service. Also all applicants can extend India Visa though the FRRO/FRO services website / Mobile app.
- Foreigners who have OCI cards. The OCI card will be valid in India.
- Visa free travel facility granted to OCI card holders shall be kept in abeyance till May 17, 2020. This will come into effect from 1200 GMT on March 13, 2020 at the port of departure of any foreigner for onward journey to India.
- If any foreigners ( including OCI cardholder) Those who have to travel to India for emergency. then they need to get a fresh visa. And can contact the nearest India Mission for a fresh visa.
- International traffic through land borders will be restricted to designated immigration check posts that have been notified by MHA VD OM. No.25022 / 12/2017-EMD dated March 14, 2020.

- Travellers who travel from Afghanistan, Philippines, Malaysia to India can't use benefits immediately visa services. because of No single flight will not take-off from these countries to India after 1500 hours Indian Standard Time (IST). The Airline will apply this at the port of preparative departure. This instruction is implemented on a temporary basis. and will be enforced till 31st March 2020
- Travellers going from visited Italy or the Republic of Korea and covetous of entering India will require authentication of having tried negative of COVID-19 from the assigned labs approved by the Health Authority of these nations. This is enforcement since 0000 hrs. of March 10, 2020 and is an impermanent measure till instances of COVID-19 die down.
- All incoming travellers, including Indian nationals, coming back from or having visited China, Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, France, Spain and Germany after Feb. 15, 2020, shall be quarantined for a minimum period of 14 days. this may inherit effect from 1200 GMT on March 13, 2020, at the port of departure.
- All Travellers coming from UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait will be placed under mandatory quarantine for a minimum period of 14 days which shall come into effect from 1200 hrs GMT on March 18, 2020, at the port of the first departure.
- Incoming travelers including Indian nationals have been advised to avoid your tourist trip. and are informed that they can be quarantined for a minimum period of 14 days on their arrival in India.
- Giving strongly advised to refrain from travel to China, Italy, Iran, Republic of Korea, Japan, France, Spain & Germany For Indian nationals.

Mandatory compliance of Travel and Visa restrictions related to COVID-19 from Director General of Civil Aviation to be followed by all scheduled Indian and Foreign Airlines engaged in International air transportation to/from India.

- All international flights have been suspended by the government till May 17, 2020. However, this restriction will not apply to international cargo operations and flights especially approved by DGCA.
- No scheduled international commercial passenger aircraft shall take from any foreign airport for any airport in India, after 0001 hrs GMT of March 22, 2020 (0530 hrs Indian Standard Time (IST) of March 22, 2020). These instructions shall remain in force till 1830 hrs GMT of May 3,2020.
- A maximum travel time of 20 hours is presumably for such commercial aircraft to land in India.
- As such, international commercial passenger aircraft shall not be incoming allowed to disembark its passengers on Indian soil (Foreigner or Indian) after 2001 hrs GMT of March 22, 2020 (0131 hrs IST of March 23, 2020).
- All travelers who have visited COVID-19 affected countries duly identified by Government of India in earlier travel advisories, who have visited these countries on or after February 15, 2020; and which are mentioned hereunder again:- China, Iran and EU, EU FTA, Turkey, UK (from where passengers have been prohibited from entering India from Afghanistan, Philippines and Malaysia (in force from March 17), shall remain in force and no scheduled international commercial airline shall carry or disembark such passengers on Indian soil.
India Government May Relax On Essential Travel Soon
The Indian Government is considering some relaxation on essential travel to keep up its economy soon.
Government working with policymakers to keep guaranteed time less or eased with strict verification and health screening to minimum hassle.
Soon, all selected foreign nationals ( who will be allowed to enter the country ) must provide:
- Travelers first get a new visa from Indian missions abroad. And you can get Information about Indian Visa.
- A medical certificate, issued by a health authority of the resident country no more than 72 hours prior to the date of travel, certifying they have not tested positive for COVID-19.
- Second test on arrival in Indian on self expenses also be on short quarantine until the test result is provided.
- Proof of an insurance policy that shows minimum medical coverage amount not less than USD$60,000.

- The passengers will be subject to 14 days of compulsory quarantine upon arrival if they find positive for disease.
