Once completed, it is set to become the tallest religious monument in the world, with a towering height of about 700 feet (213 meters or 70 floors). The temple complex will cover a massive built-up area of 540,000 sq. ft. (~50,000 sq. m.) and will be situated on 62 acres of land.

The project also includes 12 acres dedicated to parking facilities and a helipad.

2. Viraat Ramayan Mandir

Planned Features: Viraat Ramayan Mandir is an upcoming Hindu temple complex with a budget estimated at ?500 crores. It aims to become the largest religious monument in the world, surpassing the height of the renowned Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia.

The temple will stand at almost double the height of Angkor Wat, reaching 215 feet. One of its remarkable features is a spacious hall with a seating capacity of 20,000 people. Although the construction was scheduled to commence in June 2015, it has faced delays due to protests from the Cambodian government.

3. Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Yadadri

Planned Features: The Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, also known as Yadadri or Yadagirigutta temple, is being reconstructed at its original site. The temple is dedicated to Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The renowned Vaishnavaite ascetic, Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, has taken charge of the project and is overseeing every aspect of the new temple.

Until the completion of the new temple, a temporary shrine called Balalayam has been constructed for devotees to worship.

4. Om Ashram

Location: Jadan, Pali district, Rajasthan, India

Planned Features: Om Ashram is part of the Om Vishwa Deep Gurukul Swami Maheshwarananda Ashram Education & Research Centre. The central building of this vast complex is designed in the shape of the ancient Sanskrit symbol OM. Covering an area of 250 acres, the central monument will be the largest man-made representation of OM in the world. The 108 residential units forming the OM shape are symbolic of the 108 beads of a Japa Mala.

Additionally, a lake resembling the crescent Moon of the OM symbol will be created, and a 108-foot tower with 12 temples will represent the Bindu or focal point. The complex will also include a 90-foot overhead water tank and a Surya temple dedicated to the Sun God.

5. ISKCON Mayapur

Planned Features: Mayapur, considered the birthplace of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, serves as the headquarters of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). A grand temple is being constructed in this sacred location, spanning an area of six lac square feet and standing at a height of 350 feet. The temple will house a planetarium that reveals the secrets of the Vedas. Furthermore, a vast hall covering 1.5 acres will accommodate 10,000 devotees at a time.

The Temple of Vedic Planetarium aims to provide detailed information about the physical aspects of the universe and their relationship with God. The temple is expected to be completed by 2022.

Planned Features: The construction of the world's tallest statue of Lord Shiva, the fourth tallest statue globally, is nearing completion in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. This monumental statue, standing at a height of 351 feet, is located at Ganesh Tekri, approximately 50 km from Udaipur. The project, which started in 2012, has involved around 750 workers. Refined steel weighing over 2,500 tonnes has been used, and the 110-foot high pedestal is being constructed using pure zinc.

The completed statue will have three different galleries at heights of 20 feet, 110 feet, and 270 feet. The surrounding area spanning around 300 square feet will be adorned with a lush green garden, enhancing the beauty of the statue.
