Tourism Minister Prahlad Patel on Tuesday 2019, Announced that visa fee for tourists across the world to travel during peak travel season in India will be reduced. during peak travel season, the tourists will now have to pay just $25 to get a 30-day India e-tourist visa between July to March. And it has declared on Tuesday 2019 that acquaintanced a flexible e-tourist visa based on tourist footfalls, with higher fees during peak months of July-March and especially lower fee during the April-June lean season.
The Ministry has also acquaintanced a five year e-tourist visa to India fee which will be $80 and the fees of one year e-visa would be $40. For Japan, Singapore and Sri Lanka, the lower period visa fee is $10 and will be enabled the e-visa for a period of 30 days, one year and five year the fees would be $25.
Fee will be in future for these visas kindly $10 USD – $25 USD, accordingly by county.
This means that the visa fee is going to be higher from July to March, that is taken into account because the peak travel season within the country; the fee is going to be significantly lower throughout Apr to Gregorian calendar month, that is that the lean amount.
While the proposal has got the heads up from the Home Ministry, approval from the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on the e-visa fee is still awaited but is soon expected.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke about Indian tourism and its stuttering economy. PM Modi said that every Indian should visit at least 15 domestic tourist destinations over the next three years to pump up domestic travel.
The new rules will be in order soon in future. So far all travelers have to apply currently available visas.

I got a 30 day ETA. But i don�t know if my stay in India can be 30 days from the day of my arrival. Or if I have to leave the country once the validity for entrance is finished.
My ETA validity ends on september 30th.
But my flight is on September 26th. Can I stay in India maximum 30 days?
Or should I leave on Sept. the 30th?
